Vertical Bug was started by a tiny team in Mumbai. But we weren't exactly a VC-funded, party-throwing, foosball-in-the-lobby-playing, free-beer-drinking outfit. (Unless it was other people's free beer.)

We were people who traveled and climbed to escape the energies of the city, our trips sometimes funded by doing annoying contracts for big companies, trying to make our own grand entrance onto the business landscape. What we were originally trying to do doesn't matter so much now. But while doing it, we created Vertical Bug, more or less on a whim, and thought — Hmmm... that's kind of interesting.

Vertical Bug took off, in a small way, and eventually a little bigger way, over a couple years. We have a tiny office, few laptops, dartboards, chiller, coffee machine, warehouse (but stayed small). And then, our fun little journey got more serious. We had people coming back to us and that kept us encouraged to keep building it up. But, we are still resisting suggestions of having any ‘HR Policies’ whatsoever.

Things are going well now.
We're a small (but slightly bigger than before) team in Vertical Bug focusing on helping people find love and peace within through extraordinary vertical adventures. Which has pretty much always been our whole deal.

And yes, we climb reasonably good…..we think.

Here at Vertical Bug we are making every effort to be environmentally conscientious and responsible within every aspect of the company. One of the actions we have decided to take is to let the website become the company brochure and no longer mail out a paper brochure. By getting all the pertinent information to you via the website, we can not only reduce production costs and postage expenses which get passed on to you, the customer, we are also reducing paper consumption, minimizing printing-related environmental factors and participating in recycling efforts both in the office and out in the field.

Lets live and create an exceptionally beautiful world.
